So here’s what’s in this glorious balm / definitely my favorite so far / the texture, the scent and it’s healing qualities are superb 🌟

the star here is a beautiful wild harvested and sustainably sourced copaiba oil/resin. This is not an essential oil like many essential oil companies sell - this is the actual pure resin that is obtained by tapping the trees - to produce this oil the trees have to be over 100 years old. This medicine comes from deep in the amazon jungle as has been used by the indigenous people for centuries to take care of their skin & health. Copaiba is also referred to as the oil of life, and has been a much respected & essential medicine in the rainforest communities.

Properties of copaiba include, anti inflammatory, anti microbial, anti viral & immolient. Helps reduce scars, stretch marks and wrinkles. Also can be used for chest congestion, breathing difficulties, colds & flu symptoms. Also for inflammation, acne, skin irritation & sore muscles

Now for the aroma 👌 Copaiba balsam has a delicate, warm & lightly earthy aroma that helps quiet the mind, sooth the skin & relax tension in the body. Think Palo santo meets frankincense.. warm earthy and resinous, deeply soothing!

Also in this blend and totally complementary to the copaiba properties is my infused calendula / also great for skin wounds, circulation, lymphatic support / great for cold & flus as well
