Now is the time to get your Florida Finley onions in the ground! These are a fantastic variety of multiplying, pearl sized, onions that we can not only grow in Florida but cure extra bulbs and store them in the pantry to replant again in the fall. 1 bulb can make up to a dozen or more bulbs! What's great is that you can also divide them up and replant during the growing season to multiply your crop. They have a fantastic onion flavor that you can use for cooking, pickling, or even onion powder. I'm always using the greens for scallions in dishes as well. These are definitely a staple in my garden! I have a few extra bulbs from my last harvest that I have on my Etsy store if it's something you're wanting to add to your garden. I'll post the link

Making progress! Got a lot of the fall plants going. Now we are laying out the watering system for each bed.

Experimented with growing sweet potatoes in 40 gallon water troughs this year for an easier harvest. Very pleased with the results. We grew in four tubs with a different variety in each tub and ended up with a total of 55lbs of potatoes!!
