As a mom myself, I can only imagine how meaningful it is to watch your daughter get married.

Moms are so often the ones making sure everything is perfect. Checking the details, helping everyone else, making sure the bride has what she needs… and suddenly the morning is over.

That’s one of the reasons I always encourage including your mom in hair and makeup.

It gives her a reason to sit down. To be taken care of. To be part of the morning with you instead of running around behind the scenes. And hopefully, to slow down for a little while and really soak in the fact that her daughter is getting married. 🥹

And just like our brides and bridal parties, we want the moms to feel confident, beautiful, and completely themselves, both in the moment and in the photos you’ll all have forever.

Because this is a really special day for them, too. 🤍

The bride wore her hair up, while her bridal party kept things soft and romantic with half-up styles. 🤎

This bridesmaid had naturally long, full hair, which gave us so much to work with. We gave her soft, beautiful curls with just the right amount of detail in the back, letting all of that gorgeous length have its moment.

I love when the bridal party feels cohesive without everyone having to wear the exact same hairstyle.

This wedding morning was the perfect example of how getting ready should feel.

Calm, relaxed, and unrushed.

When our bride booked us, one of the things that mattered most to her was finding an artist who understood soft glam. She wanted to feel polished and have fuller coverage where she wanted it, without her makeup ever feeling heavy or looking overly done.

We were able to even her skin while keeping the overall finish soft and natural, then added subtle definition to the eyes, a fluttery lash, and a soft lip with enough to photograph beautifully while still feeling completely like her.

And the morning itself matched the look: easy, relaxed, and never rushed. We intentionally build our timelines with breathing room so our brides can actually enjoy getting ready with their favorite people.

Beautiful coverage can still look like skin. Soft glam can still make an impact. And bridal makeup should still feel like you. 🤍

Originally her mom’s, Mariah used it to create her own wedding gown, carrying a piece of her mom’s wedding day into hers.

So many beautiful moments from this day, but this felt like the perfect place to start.

I only got to be there for a little bit, but it was such a fun morning! Can’t wait to see everything that was created today.
