Two of my favorite buys this season - this green plaid dress from Anthropologie and this pea coat I thrifted. Another win for in producing a maxi dress that I actually like, that does not make me feel like I’m drowning in fabric. I absolutely love the fit of this dress and the flowy skirt makes me twirl. Yesterday was my first time wearing it. The neckline is very open, so I had to pair with a black cami. Are we still layering with camis nowadays or have they come up with something different?? I loathe layering with camis, which made it hard growing up in the 2000s when everyone was wearing five layers of them. I think it’s my body type and also sensory issues, because the multiple layers of skin tight material would make me stressed.
Anyway, my thrifted pea coat is a perfect fit for me. It has cute, feminine details and a classic shape that puts it perfectly in the Romantic Classic style category, it is ivory with gold buttons, so it fits perfectly in my Deep Autumn palette, and it has some pleats on the back that is wonderfully accommodating for the caboose area 🤣

What’s been your favorite finds this season?

Today’s church outfit - a somerset maxi from that is the perfect autumn palette and just right for Thanksgiving! Being on the shorter side, I don’t always love a maxi dress on me, but this style does a good job of creating shape with the nipped-in waist and tiers. What’s your favorite dress length?
