Happy Birthday to our beautiful Tiny Miss Indigenous NC, Kira! 💜👑
Today we celebrate one of the tiniest members of our royalty, but someone with one of the biggest hearts. Kira, your sweet spirit, kind smile, and loving heart brighten every room you walk into. You remind us that true beauty isn’t measured by size or age, but by the kindness you show others every single day.
We pray this new year is filled with laughter, unforgettable adventures, blessings, and dreams that continue to grow right along with you. Never lose that precious heart of gold that makes you so special.
Happy Birthday, sweet Kira! We love you and are so proud to have you represent the Miss Indigenous NC family. May God continue to bless you today and always. 💜✨🎂👑

They always say there is truly nothing like coming home!
While our organization includes members of many different Tribal Nations, our entire Miss & Mister Indigenous North Carolina court came together to celebrate alongside the Lumbee people. That is what this organization has always stood for!
This year’s Lumbee Homecoming was more than a celebration. It was a reminder of who we are, where we come from, and the strength we find when we come together. From the pageants and parades to golf cart rides with friends, gospel singing that touched our hearts, delicious food, and laughter on the carnival rides, every moment was filled with memories that will last a lifetime!
As we celebrated the first Homecoming since becoming the 575th federally recognized Tribe, there was an even greater sense of pride in the air!
Unity. Love. Family.
Different Nations. Different traditions. One shared respect for Indigenous cultures and one another!
Thank you to everyone who welcomed our court with open arms throughout the week. Thank you for reminding us that while we each carry our own stories and traditions, we are stronger when we stand together!
Here’s to honoring our ancestors, celebrating the present, and building a future where all Indigenous Nations continue to uplift one another!
Until next year! ❤️💛🖤🤍

Today was one of those moments that reminded us that being part of the Miss & Mister Indigenous North Carolina family is so much more than crowns and titles!
Tonight, we said goodbye… or rather, “see you later” to our beautiful Mrs. Indigenous North Carolina, Danielle Locklear!
While our hearts are heavy knowing she is moving to Colorado, we could never be anything but proud! Danielle is taking a leap of faith and pursuing her dream job, and that is something worth celebrating! She has represented our organization with grace, kindness, strength, and a genuine love for her community! Her impact will continue to be felt long after today!
There were tears, hugs, laughter, and so many memories shared as we wished her well on this exciting new chapter! Although miles may separate us, she will always be a part of our Indigenous NC family!
Danielle, thank you for the love, dedication, and light you brought to our court! We are cheering for you every step of the way. Colorado is gaining an incredible woman, but North Carolina will always be home!
We love you, we are proud of you, and we will miss you more than words can express!
Until we meet again, safe travels and chase those dreams Dani!

🪶❤️ Yesterday our Miss & Mister Indigenous North Carolina royalty had the honor of attending the inaugural Hands & Hearts Powwow, a beautiful gathering dedicated to celebrating and uplifting our brothers and sisters with special needs and disabilities!
We were inspired by the joy, strength, and sense of community that filled the arena throughout the day! From the songs and dancing to the smiles and fellowship, this event reminded us of the importance of inclusion, acceptance, and the power of coming together as one people!
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Lumbee Ambassadors, volunteers, families, and everyone who helped make this special day possible! Thank you for creating a space where every individual is seen, valued, and celebrated!
It was a privilege for our royalty to share in this meaningful event and support such an important mission! We look forward to many more opportunities to honor and celebrate all members of our Indigenous communities!
