I've been revisiting The Love Trilogy by bell hooks this month and it seems I get something new from them each time I read. Perhaps because I've changed, in ways. The lens in which we see the world changes as we experience new things.

I love that I can see my growth from the last read. I like that I've found deep connections and deeper understanding in others. And I admit I'm still learning to give myself grace in the ways I fall short. Books like these force you to look within like that.
