We get this question all the time. The answer isn't glamorous.. but it is simple.

Tallow is made from bison fat that's carefully rendered multiple times until all the impurities are removed, leaving behind pure, nutrient-rich tallow. We then blend it with nourishing jojoba oil and clean, nontoxic fragrance or essential oils before whipping it into the light, fluffy moisturizer you know and love.

That's it.

Some people think using animal fat for skincare is weird.

We think it's natural, regenerative and it's using every part of the animal with purpose instead of letting it go to waste. And we think it's a whole lot better than a moisturizer packed with 100 ingredients we can't pronounce.
