September soap challenge. Transparent Re-meltable Soap. Melt and Pour Soap Base from scratch. This amazing recipe provided by Aruna Padmanabhan created a superb transparent soap!!
I had so much fun making this soap and can't wait to share it.
This was my first attempt at making glycerin soap from scratch. I made my soap in a crock pot which allowed me to keep all my ingredients at the same temperature.

This kiss pour technique in soap is so incredibly fun to do. I'm so glad it is the challenge for the Soap Challenge Club this month! I colored this soap with Mica from Brambleberry.

October 2020 Soap Challenge.

October 2020 Soap Challenge: Ghost Swirl. This challenge was an adventure! I learned to use soapcalc.net and I was very excited with the process and results. My recipe includes oil of coconut, olive, castor, shea and tallow. I did three concentrations of lye/water. For my top embellishment, I used the same batch of oils and my strongest lye concentration. This challenge did not allow colorants or essential oils. The contrast is from the changes in the lye concentration.
My inspiration was an old piece of antique lace. I divided my mold using homemade dividers made for me by my son, Zak Stroing on his 3 D printer. I can't wait to share this creation.

I am so in love with this new technique!
I can't wait to try it again. The stripes are supposed to go all the way through the soap. Scented with Blackberrys & Vanilla fragrance oil.

Happy New Year. May your year be filled with blessings. I have been busy with grand kids, visiting our new grandson and the ranch.
This New Year’s Day, I stayed home and made my husband’s favorite soap. Creamy Cows Milk with Anise! Yummy
