I married my best friend last weekend and finally got to fulfill my dream of creating my own bouquet. 😭✨ my bridesmaids helped do all of theirs plus the corsages and boutonnières. I will post soon the exquisite installations by and .irl that completed my whimsical, light + airy vision. It was the most beautiful day of my life!

Thanksgiving is not complete without an installation serving as the focal point of the design. The last couple years it's what I envision first and all the other details fall in line after. And, of course, having friends contribute their ideas makes it all the more special.

A dinner is not complete without place cards or menus decorating the tablescape. I like to dabble in graphic design when it comes to signage or really anything that will contribute to the experience.

One of my favorite days of the year for more reasons than one is Thanksgiving. The food, the friends, the long afternoon that leads into the evening. But it's also the one day every year that I put all of my creative juices into. I start dreaming into it months in advance and use it as a showcase to feature some of my favorite ideas.

The small details matter most to me. Incorporating specifics that are important to the client is one of my top goals. For this dinner, it was dinosaurs for the son who was being adopted. Even though he’s just a child, I cared about him seeing something on the table that spoke directly to him; something that was for him alone.

Adoption Dinner Cont’d//The friend who hired me for this event wanted little to do with the details. She gave me free range with ideas and told me she trusted me. That combo is always going to produce the greatest results for me. 😎

A day later than I said but kicking off a revisit of my favorite dinners with this sweet Adoption Dinner I designed for some friends. Their son loves dinosaurs and Chinese food so I took those details and implemented them in small ways. I didn’t want the table to feel too feminine since it was a dinner for their son, but I also knew that I wanted some fresh greenery and pops of color with the rest of the table being fairly neutral. All details of the design were executed by myself.
