I like to wait until after 12pm to have my first meal so these healing remedies along with fresh fruit is what I consume in my mornings ☀️

🌱 I consume 2-4oz of the aloe vera, turmeric & ginger mix. You can add in a fruit juice like pineapple to help with the taste if you’d like. If it’s your first time trying this remedy, it may have a laxative effect on you. For me I like to use this remedy to fight inflammation, boost my immune system, and detox. It also helps lower blood sugar, reverse arthritis, clear acne, reduce lung congestion and helps with constipation.

🌱 I mix 1 teaspoon of raw ginger juice with 6- 8oz of water. This is great in the morning because you feel an immediate energy boost. This is because ginger is a natural vasodilator meaning it widens your blood vessels thus increasing blood flow. Increased blood flow = more oxygen to your cells = increased energy. With that, ginger tea helps to lower blood pressure and improve digestion.

🌱 I drink about 4oz of the lime, honey and Acerola cherry mix. I only use 1 teaspoon of the cherry. This is incredible for your immune system. Acerola Cherry has 30x more vitamin C than an orange, paired with key limes & raw honey 🍯 so much goodness!!! I also think it tastes really good 🤤

🌱 I add 2 tablespoons of my sea moss gel to a jar of water. This is convenient and gives me the best of both worlds. I’m hydrating myself and giving myself a nutrient boost. Sea moss provides our body with almost every vitamin & mineral it needs to carry out it’s daily functions. This is so necessary in a time where consumption of fake foods and processed foods is so high - our bodies are starving for micronutrients. Sea moss is one of the greatest nutrient dense foods!

Save this post to try these for yourself! You’ll feel amazing ❤️

Turkish zucchini fritters with cacik yogurt sauce✨
.
For the Fritters:▪️2 Medium Zucchinis▪️3/4 tsp Kosher Salt, divided▪️1 Tbsp Fresh Dill, minced▪️1 tsp Fresh Mint, minced▪️1 Egg▪️1/3 Cup Feta, crumbled▪️1/4 tsp Pepper▪️2 Tbsp Cornstarch▪️2 Tbsp Flour▪️~1/2 Cup Avocado Oil▪️
.
For the Cacik:▪️1 Cup Plain Full Fat Yogurt▪️1 Small Persian Cucumber, diced very small▪️1 Clove Garlic, grated or minced▪️1 Tbsp Fresh Mint, minced▪️1/2 Lemon, juice▪️1/4 tsp Salt▪️
.
🌱Vegan Modification: Sub in flax egg for egg (mix 1 Tbsp flax meal with 2 Tbsp water and let thicken for 5 minutes); serve with hummus instead of cacik (or sub in plant based yogurt in the cacik.. make sure it's tart and not sweet though)
.
1️⃣ Mix together ingredients for the cacik (feel free to add a little water if you want a thinner consistency) and set aside in the fridge
2️⃣Grate the zucchini, sprinkle with 1/2 tsp salt, and place in a tea towel or cheese cloth; twist the cloth to seal in the zucchini and squeeze out as much moisture as possible
3️⃣ Transfer the zucchini into a bowl and add the dill, mint, egg, feta, cornstarch, flour, 1/4 tsp salt, and pepper; mix to combine
4️⃣ In a large pan over medium high heat, pour in avocado oil so it covers the bottom pan generously
5️⃣ Heat oil until it reaches 350°F and then add dollops of the batter (use a cookie scoop if you have one); flatten slightly w a spatula after placing in the oil and cook for ~2 mins per side until golden brown (lower heat to medium if they start browning too fast); place on a paper towel lined plate to drain
6️⃣ Take the cacik out of the fridge, give it a mix, and drizzle with olive oil on top (option to garnish with a mint leaf); serve alongside the fritters and enjoy!
.
⏲35 minute total prep + cook time
.
Recipe makes 9 small fritters (serves 3-4 people as an appetizer or side dish) 08/27/2023
