Leafy greens and root veggies thrive in January. Think lettuces, cabbage, swish chard, onions, carrots even herbs although inside would be better for herbs. Putting berries in the grown now can yield fresh berries in early Spring.

If you're more of a floral person, you can keep your yard beautiful the entire year. Plant bulbs now for beautiful flowers in early Spring. Want pretty colors now? Pansies like and thrive in the cool months but hate the heat.💐
