. . . .2 0 1 7. . . . . This year I set out to increase my bridal clientele and I well surpassed that goal. Feeling like a bit of an overachiever, I’m also feeling extremely blessed. I’ve met some incredible people this year and have continued to perfect my art and love every moment. People ask me what my favorite part about doing hair and makeup is, and I have found myself repeating the same thing; I love working weddings. It’s where I feel I belong. There’s something special to me about getting a woman ready once for such a special day and possibly never seeing her again. When they see themselves in the mirror and are amazed at how beautiful they look and feel, they are so happy. They smile and my heart smiles because I helped make them feel like the most beautiful girl in the world. The beauty industry is more than just hair and makeup to me, I create relationships with other people I would have never met otherwise. Thank you to every single person who chose me as the person to entrust to get them ready, whether it be a wedding, high school formal or even a baby shower. You are all more special to me than you know. Here’s to another amazing year!
