Milkweed! Its vital for the Monarchs 🦋 and other pollinators too, but especially for the Monarchs! Monarchs lay their eggs on milkweed and the caterpillars🐛 eat the leaves to get big and strong before they perform chrysalis and complete their metamorphosis. It's fun to see! If you want to attract the Monarchs and other pollinators or just give them a spot to rest along their migration, look into planting Milkweed on your property- its pretty easy to grow, and its self seeding so it will come back year after year. Also - Milkweed has some medicinal benefits too! Its one thay you gotta be a little careful with but the leaves can be boiled to make a leafy green kinda like spinach that you can eat or drink the tea from (which is great for respiratory health.) And the roots are great for heart health. The seeds are used as a laxative as well. Just make sure to do your research!

Recent studies show that singing could increase your quality of life if you suffer from interstitial lung disease or other chronic pulmonary diseases! For those that don't know, interstitial lung disease is a horrible illness, with a bad prognosis. Unfortunately, we lost my Mammy (grandma) due to interstitial lung disease. It was awful to see her suffer. She is one of the reasons I started looking into alternative medicine and herbalism. I wish I knew then, what I know now. Even though I can't go back in time and help her, I know I can help others now by sharing what I am learning and have learned. 💚
