I have been involved in purebred dogs since 1972 starting out in Irish Setters. I came back to my true passion the Dachshund in 2000 when I bought Riverwind Hi Plains Drifter from Su Thelen. Since then I have put several titles on all of my dogs including 4 Dual Champions and 3 of them have DCA Versatality Certificates. I have been approved to judge Field Trials and hoping to add Earthdog this mon

Serenity Dachshunds attended the PNW AKC Scentwork club Spring Fling trial in Gaston, OR.
We walked away with several new titles and a H.I.T trial. I do not have any ribbons from Monday since we left early.

Serenity Dachshunds had a doggone good day at the Harvest Moon Classic FT.
Serenity's You're a Fine Girl....Brandi earned a 2nd place under judges Michael Pitisci and Stan Knoll

CH. Serenity's A New Hope with Dachstar....Tripp earned a 3rd place under judges Kay Schrader and Lori Isaacson. We then went to a great pub for a howlin' good celebration dinner.

I was checking Joy's titles to see if her two new agility and rally titles have been recorded. Than I noticed a new title added by AKC.

ABS GCH DC Serenity's Joy To The World VCD1 BN CD RI FDC NFP BCAT CGCA CGCU TKI FITG.
It is the VCD1 which honors those dogs that have earned four titles in three specific, different AKC sports: Obedience, tracking and two agility titles.
This little spit fire of a girl just keeps amazing me.
