Somewhere between being a mom, building a career, and taking care of everyone else, I stopped recognizing myself.

But she was never gone—just buried beneath exhaustion, expectations, and survival mode.

Now I’m choosing my family, protecting my mental health, chasing my dreams, and bringing her back one day at a time. ❤️

Today’s picture is just me.
And maybe that sounds simple, but lately I’ve been realizing how long it’s been since I really stopped and thought about who I am outside of work, responsibilities, schedules, and taking care of everyone else.
This journey started because I wanted more time with my boys.
It still does.
But somewhere along the way, I realized I also want more time with myself.
Time to breathe.
Time to create.
Time to take care of my body and my mind.
Time to figure out what I want this next chapter to look like.
I don’t have all the answers yet.
But I’m smiling more. I’m dreaming again. And little by little, I’m starting to recognize myself again. 🤍

Order #1004 came through… and it included my ChefMom cozy kitchen wrapping paper 😭🤍
This was my biggest ChefMom Market order yet — a mix of cozy kitchen merch and printable meal systems.
I know it’s still small business baby steps, but this one felt really special. Someone saw something I created, trusted my little shop, and ordered it for their own home.
That is such a wild feeling.
ChefMom Market is growing one order at a time, and I’m so thankful for every click, order, share, and bit of encouragement 🤍

Apparently giving myself more time at home was dangerous… because the ideas are already getting out of control. 😂🌿
One old corner cabinet I already owned + leftover creativity = the beginning of something completely new.
I'm working on a NEW little brand and turning this into our very own front porch “farmstand.” 🥖🍪🌿
Think homemade baked goods, fresh bread, treats, a little merch and whatever else this adventure grows into.
Is it fancy? Nope.
Is it starting with things I already have around the house? Absolutely. 😂
But that's kind of what I love about it.
I'm building this one slowly, intentionally and without spending a fortune just to get started.
New ideas. New brand. New adventure.
And pretty soon… this empty cabinet won't be so empty. 👀🥖
