Happy Alopecia awareness day!
My first day was amazing! I will be there once a month. My next day there is August 17th. I have one more spot available for a haircut only. I will be there doing regular clients plus model clients with shadowing opportunities for any stylist that wants to learn curly hair or anything texture/cutting related. Jackie has created a learning environment where we can all learn from each other. This is really great because we are so used to corporate training programs. This allows us the freedom to teach and learn in a way that works for our schedule and our business. We all have something to teach and something to learn. A Friend just shared a quote with me “the best way to learn is to teach.” Thanks Becky that really stuck with me. I will be growing my career in ways I never imagined and I’m so excited about it. Thank you for being one of my models and my first shadow student, It was a great experience for me!

My daughter has the best sense of humor! I freaking love her. She is not her hair. She is a smart, independent, confident, funny, beautiful and kind individual. It was dress up like “some type of celebrity or character” day at school and she dressed up as Mr. Clean. Then it was crazy hair day at school so she she decided to have everyone sign her head. This girl is fully leaning in and I really need to take a page from her book. I am so lucky to be her mom, she is so much more mature than I am and is constantly showing me how to be like her when I grow up. ❤️
