This client was struggling with inflamed and non-inflamed acne as well as post inflammatory erythema.

We first started by getting her rosacea under control and because she’s not a candidate for chemical peels, we cleared her skin with custom facials.

This is another great example of when you work with someone who understands skin science, you can see big changes even with standard facials.

May 2026:

Amazing results in treating post inflammatory erythema.

The end of chemical peels but more nanojnfusion.

An MCAS flare up but a lot of whimsy despite it.

A 3 month difference!

My sweet client was referred to me by another esthetician as she was struggling with acne and a lot of post inflammatory erythema.

We started by switching her off majority of her SkinBetter Science products because none of them were really targeting her concerns. We then streamlined her at-home skincare routine to target her skin’s inflammation to prevent further development of PIE.

From there, she has had a few corrective treatments with me focusing on calming the skin and treating her acne. She also does VBeam laser treatments to help further accelerate the removal of redness and PIE.

This is a primary example how you can work with estheticians and dermatologists simultaneously to achieve beautiful skin. Each provider has a place and working together can truly improve results and our client’s confidence.

Acne & Rosacea can absolutely be managed when you understand what’s going on with you skin at a cellular level.

My sweet client came in with a lot of non-inflamed acne, inflamed acne, PIE, and very reactive skin.

Once we got her Rosacea under control and managed the inflammation, we were able to start addressing the non-inflamed acne and texture without risking more Post Inflammatory Erythema.

Our next step is to manage her texture and scarring.

Acne doesn’t need to be complicated, you just need someone to teach you what exactly you need. Book with us in the bio!

If finding a moisturizer in the summer is a nightmare for you, here’s a few of our favorites for this season that not only support your barrier but also don’t leave that oily, sticky texture in the Texas heat.

Each of these can be purchased at the studio, so send me a DM to schedule a pick up today.

After 2 chemical peels:

My sweet client did laser and unfortunately her laser tech was not familiar with the proper treatment for melanin rich skin. This resulted in the loss of pigment around my clients chin and mouth.

To address this, I put my client on a tyrosinase inhibitor to start managing the other areas to help reverse any hyperpigmentation and to prep her skin for a brightening peel. When dealing with an area of hypopigmentation while doing her peel, we applied Vaseline to the areas where hypopigmentation were to prevent the peel from impacting that area.

This was the results after just her introductory facial and two superficial peels. No peeling, zero downtime, and real results.

I’m so excited to continue seeing her results progress. Stay tuned. ❤️

I’m so excited to finally share this little secret we’ve been keeping ✨

Sol Cura has officially been featured in a 4 page spread in the May edition of Dermascope Magazine, and it honestly feels unreal seeing our work in print like this.

This feature highlights what my business is all about. We support clients with complex skin concerns tied to chronic illness, autoimmune conditions, and hormonal dysregulation, while creating a space where people feel taken seriously when they haven’t been before.

So many of our clients come to us after being dismissed, overlooked, or seeing little to no results elsewhere. That’s exactly why this studio exists.

Rae and I are estheticians who also live with chronic illness. We understand both the science of the skin and the reality of how overall health impacts it, and we’ve built our approach around that. We continue to learn from and collaborate with medical professionals so we can better support our clients while they navigate their health, because having clear, healthy skin should not be another constant battle.

Seeing this work recognized in Dermascope truly means a lot.

We’re so grateful to be trusted with our clients’ skin and their stories. Being featured together makes this moment even more meaningful.

This is just the beginning 🤍
