I am so excited, nervous, scared, & completely over the moon that I’m opening a Salon Suite! ✨ One more big step. I’ve been in this industry a while, & when I was making this decision I literally had multiple chats with myself about the pros & cons. However, I want to one day be a Salon Owner. Who knows if it’s truly in the cards for me, but here I am tackling this one day at a time & starting out in a suite. I’m blessed beyond compare, I am scared like no other, & not willing to back down one bit! Actually, maybe it’s the adrenaline j***y in me, or my Sagittarius side is showing, but the fact that I’m scared makes me even more sure that I’m doing the right thing. The overwhelming support & love I have received from all my clients, friends, & family is giving me the confidence I need to take this next step. I love my career, I love my industry, & all that is involved in it. Come June 4th I’ll be out on my own!!! ❤️‍🔥

Every Hairstylists favorite words, & my girl Serena gave me the green light! I love when she comes in, we laugh constantly the entire time, she trusts me with her hair, & it’s just always a good time. Serena has been coming to me for about two years. We have been addressing some old hair trauma from being platinum blond, & I was amazed by her results. She’s consistently coming in for hair treatments. She has added a ton more moisture in her hair. & went more lived in to allow freedom from highlighting her hair so much. This was one session I firmly believe I’ll never forget. I can probably say I haven’t had many moments where I felt I needed to hold my mentor & Jacki Lifted Salon hostage…. But this was definitely one of them. I basically looked her straight in the face like “I need you now,” & Jacki just knew. Her traction alopecia made my nervous system immediately freak out. But ya know, this is why I love what I do!! So we got to work. My friend Claire Chichester did her color, a nice lived in blonde. Where Jacki & I agreed we needed to alleviate the tension on her scalp, take her down to one row, & do a looser install. This was a huge lesson for me, so many mind blowing moments, & in the end she was so happy!!! Her scalp can begin to heal, & her extensions blend completely! Huge learning moment for all of us, & so glad with the results!
