it's funny to say I dreamt of this day since kaelei was born, but I really did. i knew the day that my baby went to her first prom was going to be a big deal, not only her but for me as well. as the person who has done hair & makeup numerous times for many parties, proms, balls & weddings this was the very first time where I had my first born as a client & all dolled up. I honestly loved every minute of it!

Special thanks to for providing the beautiful orchid corsage & boutonniere for kaelei & her date & her besties!! They were absolutely beautiful.
& to .xx_ for getting photos of kaelei & jaylah! for bringing your camera to capture these special moments for our not so babies!! I know they'll cherish these memories forever!!

.38. I've never felt so much love & appreciation for life & I feel extremely blessed. Another year older & another year wiser. In the past years in all the chaos of life, family & career.. I seemed to have forgotten to slow down & check in with me.

Loving, taking care & celebrating myself has now been made a priority & just as important as being a mommy & I am so lucky to have amazing people in my life me to remind me how important it is to love on me & to celebrate life.

"You cannot pour from an empty cup" is now one of my favorite mottos.

Kaelei made me a mommy first, I was 22 and wasn't sure how I was going to be responsible for a little human. To my surprise she made it so easy to love her, care for her & protect her.
The sleepless nights and endless worries of if I'm doing it right, made it worth it to see her smile. 14+ years later I know I must've done something right. She is truly amazing. Smart, beautiful, soft spoken & driven! She makes me so proud to be her mommy!
Then came Kaiya @ 25 I was a Mommy of 2. She was the most smiley, silly little monster! She made our family complete! She was quick at everything.. she walked & talked by 10 months old. Kaiya and Kaelei were inseparable. Kaelei LOVED being a Manang (big sister) 10 + years later she suprises me everyday! Shes our little chef, and expert question asker. She picks my brain & always asks the hard questions. She will definitely go far! I am extremely proud to be her Mommy!
