Interrupting your regularly scheduled flower posts to share that I have graduated from Cal Poly SLO with a B.S in Agricultural Communication!

If you didn’t know this about me, I started IFB when I was a freshmen in college. I got sent home from the dorms during COVID & had some extra time on my hands. I felt led to pursue my passion… & God did the rest!

I have learned so much being a full time business owner while being a full time CP student. I have been given so much grace & a lot of amazing opportunities. Thank you🥹 I am one grateful girl who has a whole community to thank in this beautiful celebratory season.

I leave college as a full time florist and business owner! I will remain in San Luis Obispo & continue to grow IFB 🌸

I will be out of office this weekend as I celebrate with my family & friends 🥹

Peter & I are engaged! We got engaged a week ago & we are still on cloud ☁️ 9.

He’s the man you always see following me around, carrying buckets & making me smile and laugh on wedding days… He is a huge reason why IFB is successful and so full of love.

Three years of so many weddings, flowers, memories & growth! This baby business of mine has been such a blessing from God.

I look back when IFB was started… it was originally going to be a side business or “hobby”… but, God had other plans! He has transformed this business from a side hobby during college into a full time career here for me in San Luis Obispo.

I cannot fully articulate the gratitude and joy I have for IFB and to Jesus for this gift!

To all of my friends and family that first bought those mother’s day flowers three years ago & those friends who entrusted their wedding flowers with me when I first started to do them on my own- thank you.

Thank you to all my past & future clients- I get so involved and invested in your weddings, come Friday & Saturday of your wedding week, it is what I go to sleep dreaming about and what I wake up in the morning excited to create.

Thank you for all of the support and kindness over the last 3 years! I am so grateful I get a space to share what my job is & how passionate I am about it!

Here’s a little story: growing up, Kailee and her family were an instrumental part of shaping who I am and supporting me in my endeavors. No matter what it was.

Kailee was always like an older sister to me- You could find me going to Kailee for advice, laughter & someone to sing with. Her family has always been intentional, kind and generous with their time and interactions with me.

On top of this, when I met Jordan, immediately he seemed to match Kailee’s wit and humor, & love for Christ and music! These two embody kindness, joy & celebration for life! It was a true gift to flower your wedding in beautiful Kauai!
