These are my scars. Scars that I chose, and scars that I wouldn’t change for anything in the world.

2019 I had my first c/section. The surgery went well, and the recovery was easy. However, the scar 🥴 It was dark, raised and keloided, and numb. The incision wasn’t sewn back together correctly and the steri strips (bandage) became imbedded into part of my skin. Internally, my muscles were still sore to the touch up until I got pregnant again (1.5 years later). This scarring was 6 months post c/section all while eating healthy and taking my vitamins and POWDER collagen.
