My favorite brands are Davines, Aveda and Framesi. Here is the reason: these contain NO PPD. Please google PPD. It’s a chemical used to “deliver” the color to the hair shaft and can be pretty toxic, especially in the darker colors. I have chosen to use only Aveda and the Italian brands Davines and Framesi for my own health, as I use them every day. Curly tip!
Product distribution is everything! Make sure to apply your styling product (ie: Lift Foam or Gel) from roots to ends on wet hair. Small sections work best (2”x 2”). Rake through until the hair is in larger, ropey strands like the size of your pinky finger. Keep working it through until the hair is saturated with the cream, gel, foam. Do NOT dry your hair before adding styling products.

So, we did it again!! Short curly cut for the summer sizzle. Fresh fringe and airy little piece-y ness at the nape. Balm, undressed spray, all the beautiful products for curls en pointe.

Not necessarily a before and after pic but a change up for summer! We took some length off for summer fun! We love a fresh curly bob. We did an Express Cut today, which is a dry curly cut. We refreshed with Hairstory Undressed spray and Balm.
