Castile soap in use at the barn, I love using it on my horse. I can rub the bar right into his coat.

All this beautiful spring weather is great, but for all us animal people out there, we dread the shedding coats of our furry friends. My horse has been shedding and getting dandruff. I decided to use my Castile soap help his skin out. His coat is nice a shiny now! It works great

I made a big batch of Un-abashed tonight and while I was in the final step mixing the oils with the lye/goats milk, I realized that I forgot all about the fresh rosemary. So I ran outside, picked a bunch, and frantically chopped it up before the soap set. I made it in time but this batch is going to have coarsely chopped rosemary ;)

Made 3 more batches of soap today, I'm trying something new by wrapping them up to insulate while setting so the gel up. I normally have been trying to keep them from gelling but I haven't had consistent results that way. So hopefully they turn out and I just didn't waste 10lbs of oils, lye and goats milk!
