Sunday’s are for Jesus, football, and fresh baked cookies.

My brain is like an internet browser with 19 different tabs open at all times.

School pick up, school drops offs, poetry homework, uniforms in the dryer, order new jeans for Karter, Mackenzie needs more hair ties, place the grocery order, vacuum the floor, pull out the meat for dinner (ya’ll know I always accidentally close this tab😂), stop to get gas, pay the utility bill, drop that package off at the post office, clean the toilets, dentist appointments, 3 year old check ups, make meal prep for the week, nap times, bed time stories, fold the laundry, work messages, birthday party planning, field trip money, school fundraisers, feed the tiny humans, take a shower, clean the car, play with the kids, make time for dance parties, try and sleep every day, keep my sanity.....most days are a constant battle of necessity verse time.

Then I watch the three of you laugh and smile at the world around you, completely unaware of how hard life is. I realize that I’m doing something right because you are living a carefree, innocent, happy childhood. And while I seem to drop the ball all the time as a mom, watching you find your way in the world reminds me to pat myself on the back once in a while because I am raising three amazing little humans.

To the mama about to pull her hair out. I see you, I am you....you are enough and you are doing a damn good job raising those little babies. Cut yourself some slack, being a mom is hard.

We all have a little bit of extra in us somewhere. Let’s dust it off and let ourselves sparkle the way we were made to!

Happy Birthday to my one and only❤️ There are no words that properly express how much of an amazing man you are. I hit the husband jackpot. I hope today is filled with football, lasagna, and sitting on the couch...all your favorite things 😂❤️ I love you.

Have you ever heard the expression “when it rains it pours”?

That’s how I’m feeling lately, except with positive things.

I feel like I’ve got this crazy momentum going in an optimistic direction and now positivity is hailing into my life.

My health and wellness are better than they have ever been in my adult life. My mothering, while far from perfect, is something I’m super proud of lately! I’ve started my own business where I get to help other people and it’s growing leaps and bounds every month! I’m taking huge amounts of financial stress off of my really amazing (and sexy😉) husband. Oh and I leave in 6 weeks for a Bahamas cruise with my best friend of almost 10 years.

Can someone pinch me!?

I’m not a huge risk taker. I am a very planned out monotonous person, but holy cow ya’ll I took a big chance trying something new this year and it’s pouring giant blessings into my life left and right!

Today so many families that I will never know are in my prayers; officer families, fire families, innocent Americans, children who grew up without a parent, parents who had to mourn their children, and people who lost the love of their life.

The United States of America will never be the same. This day will forever hurt in our hearts. We will never forget. ❤️🇺🇸
