It depends. That absolutely drives my clients crazy.🤪

That’s the answer I give when someone asks if they should eat a certain food or not.

If you’re an emotional eater, it’s not really about the food, it’s about the emotions behind you’re eating.

If you’re stressed out, not feeling well, exhausted and overwhelmed, you are more likely to overheat and overindulgent foods they give you the happy hitšŸ’„ in your brain.

Unfortunately, that dopamine šŸ’„hit that happens right away is short-lived and you just keep on eating anyway.

šŸ‘‰Once you become aware… And yes, it takes practice… Life gets easier with food.

Are you serious? Do you think people want to be unhealthy and keep gaining weight?

It really sucks when you find out you’re not that girl.

I hear people yelling on the Internet to track your food, count your calories and get that calorie deficit. They are literally shaming women.

Before I could even think about that, I had to play by different rules because I literally am not that person who can just lock it in without going crazy and binging eventually.

If you feel this, please know you’re not alone. šŸ’•šŸ‘‰Diet culture has made you feel like everyone should be able to do this. That is such BS.šŸ’ÆšŸ’Æ

In our community, we have women just like you who need to learn more about processing their emotions so they don’t eat them rather than just skipping to the dieting.

Blaming the food? And then starting another diet?

I’ve been there… I’ve even said I can’t have this food in the house and then promised not to eat it again the next day…repeated daily.

Let’s be real! I mean… Really honest.

If you are a chronic diet, do all the detox, buy all the supplements and do all the elimination diet in hopes that you will stop eating sugar or junk food, you have not taken care of the root cause.

I totally get it because I’m a recovering emotional eater and I found sugar to be my greatest comfort.

Sadness, procrastination, stress, loneliness

There’s so many reasons why we turn to food and it’s the easiest and fastest thing to find.

In our community, we talk about all the tools that you can use to not only dig a little bit deeper, but we create a safe and nonjudgmental space for you to talk about the things that are driving you to the food.
