Have been bogged down with some other things lately.
Here's a work in progress. My wife's horse on a hoof pick. Camel bone handles.

The birthday has expired. Now I can show this..

Just picked up some hoof picks I had made by Trystan, at Fluid Forge. Local blacksmith I met.
I like how they are each unique. That's something I tried to keep with my work.
Now to make some handles.

Here's a new larger leg knife. 5" closed.

This was an anniversary present last year, bought because it looked like a candidate for some Scrimshaw.
Need to replace the plastic handle with bone and probably replace the wood inlay. Any ideas what to put on it?

Here's a special order knife for a friend of mine. Started life as a chef's knife.

Removed the handles, filed, sanded, sanded....., buffed, sanded some more, buffed. Take break. Almost ready for handles.

Might explain some of the labor involved.

Met with a local bladesmith today. Looking for some quality "made in USA" blades to use. Might work out to be a good relationship. His name is Trystan from Fluid Forge.
I brought home one of his blades to start with.

I'm getting ready to go back to work after about 3 years off.
I will be looking for some special orders. See anything that you like or have an idea, please let me know.
Here's most of what I have on hand to work on.
A hunter/skinner knife. The wood handles will be replaced with bone, or more expensive Mammoth tusk if you like.
Medium sized lockback.
Toe nail or Elephant toe folder.
A small "Parker" lockback.
Business card holders. Can put your logo or business card design on bone, on the front.
I also have some money clips.
