✨ Let’s talk about MOVE-UPS vs. REINSTALLS ✨

I get asked this a lot, so here’s my professional take 💕

While move-ups can seem like a quicker option, I personally recommend full reinstalls for the best results.

Here’s why 👇

💫 A fresh, clean foundation
Over time, natural shedding happens (completely normal!). A reinstall allows me to fully detangle, and start fresh so your install looks neat and feels comfortable.

💫 Better longevity
Reinstalls tend to last longer because everything is redone properly from the base, giving you a more secure and polished look.

💫 Scalp care matters
Your scalp deserves a reset! A reinstall gives me the chance to properly care for your natural hair underneath your extensions.

💫 Overall finish
A fresh install just lays flatter, looks cleaner, and gives that luxury finish we all love ✨

Move-ups can work in certain situations, but for my clients, I focus on maintaining the health of your natural hair and giving you the best, longest-lasting results possible 💖

After care ::
here’s how to take care of your extensions so they stay fresh, soft, and long-lasting:

✨ MOST IMPORTANT ✨
(please read this first)

• ALWAYS fully dry underneath the weft (very important to prevent smell)
• Do NOT apply conditioner, oils, or heavy products near the scalp/beads
• Never go to bed with wet or damp hair

If you follow these 3 things, your hair will stay in great condition ❤️

🧴 WASHING
• Use sulfate-free & paraben-free shampoo/conditioner
• Wash 2–3 times per week
• Wash standing upright (not leaning forward)
• Gently cleanse the scalp—no rough scrubbing
• Rinse thoroughly, especially under the weft

💧 CONDITIONING
• Apply conditioner mid-lengths to ends only
• Avoid root/attachment area
• Deep condition once a week if needed

💨 DRYING
• Gently pat dry—do not rub
• Section hair and dry row by row
• Make sure the top (where beads/weft are) is 100% dry
• You can air dry the ends, but NOT the scalp area

🪮 BRUSHING
• Brush daily to prevent tangling
• Always support the row when brushing
• Start from ends and work your way up
• Use a wet brush or extension-friendly brush

🔥 STYLING
• Always use heat protectant
• Avoid oils/serums near the scalp
• Heat tools are fine on mid-lengths & ends

🌙 SLEEPING
• Never sleep with wet hair
• Braid or loose ponytail before bed
• Silk pillowcase recommended

🏊‍♀️ SWIMMING
• Tie hair up or braid before swimming
• Rinse and shampoo right after
• Do not leave hair wet for long periods
