I want to tell y’all a little story on this client.
I had this client come to me yesterday and this isn’t what we originally had planned.
We were meant to do chrome frenchies and chrome frenchies is something I’ve been wanting to do. We slayed her acrylic application, filed, shaped and buffed them. Completely clean slate. Perfect base for nail art. When i tell you guys, i took more than 30 minutes trying to perfect my frenchie but i didn’t like it and i obviously didn’t do that because the image is showing something else.
I started to low key panic and let my client know, i can’t do it. I was having one of those days and it wasn’t coming out like i wanted it too. I had no choice but to switch designs and we ended up with half v design with a line of reflective glitter.
Being a nail tech has its ups and downs and a lot of people don’t see that. Something i do as your nail tech is admit to defeat and if i can’t do it, I’ll let you know.
This situation was definitely something that set me back as a nail tech and my client was amazing about it. She tried something different and was happy with the nails.
Being in this industry isn’t always so picture perfect and it’s challenging when you start off but it isn’t something to give up on!
I appreciated this client more than you guys know! ❤️
