Hi besties! I hope everyone had a very merry Christmas🎄

I wanted to share my current skincare faves that have truly made a change in my skin. With so many products out there, how do you know what’s right for you?

Well, try to keep the following in mind when adding to your skincare routine:

1️⃣ Are you double cleansing??? Never skip this step! This will ensure that you are fully removing dirt, oil, debris, and makeup from your skin and pores. This will significantly help you reduce texture/unevenness in your skin
2️⃣ Are you using a toner? They are great for balancing the pH of your skin after cleansing. Many of them have antioxidants and other ingredients that are known to calm the skin
3️⃣ Are you spot treating? Actives are great to add into your daily routine. Why? Because they all treat something. What are some examples? There’s hyaluronic acid, peptides, retinol, vitamin C, AHAs, and antioxidants just to name a few. Using actives will target concerns such as fine lines and wrinkles, texture, discoloration, and congestion.
4️⃣ Drinking water is NOT enough. Especially in colder months, our skin is THIRSTY. So make sure you are adding enough moisture and hydration into your skincare. This will make your skin plump and radiant.
5️⃣ Last but not least…USE SUNSCREEN!!🧴 Remember that the sun is the #1 cause of aging and you may not see it now but the damage is in the dermis and over the years, it will make its way up to the surface of your skin. I always tell my clients that there are different phases in our aging process: prevention, maintenance, and correction. PREVENT NOW and save yourself thousands of dollars in treatments in the future. Heal your skin from within 🧘‍♀️

I hope this helps anyone who is just starting with their skincare journey or anyone wanting to learn about it.
