Not all beautiful lips are about adding volume 👄! True lip enhancement is about respecting anatomy, structure, and balance.

This lip shape is a great example of why assessment matters before treatment. Notice the defined Cupid’s bow, which creates natural peaks and gives the upper lip that soft heart-like contour. Preserving this structure is key to maintaining a youthful and elegant result. Overfilling or blunting this area can flatten the natural architecture of the lip.

You’ll also notice a slightly upper-dominant fullness, meaning the upper lip carries a little more projection through the central tubercles. While many people assume the lower lip should always be larger, ideal ratios vary based on facial harmony and existing anatomy.
