I have a dad who just got full custody via CPS of his newborn daughter- he has nothing. Baby girl is 2 weeks old. He doesn’t have a car, and from what I can gather has nothing for her needs. (East side near Dietrich Rd/ i10/410 area)

- still gathering info from a family member who is on her way to SA from almost out of state

I am getting him set up with the diaper program, and other organizations, however that all takes time. If anyone has any of these items, please let me know and I’ll connect y’all! 🙏🏼💗

🍼 MOST URGENT

* Newborn diapers — lots!
* Size 1 diapers
* Unscented baby wipes
* Diaper rash cream
* Infant formula (once we confirm what she is currently using — don’t switch formulas unnecessarily)
* Bottles
* Bottle brush
* Burp cloths
* Pacifiers
* Newborn/0–3 month sleepers & onesies
* Socks
* Swaddles/receiving blankets

🛏️ SAFE SLEEP

* Bassinet, Pack ’n Play, or crib with a firm, flat sleep surface
* Fitted sheets made specifically for that sleep space
* Waterproof mattress protectors
* Sleep sacks

🚗 TRANSPORTATION

This is a HUGE priority since Dad doesn’t have a car.

* New/used unexpired infant car seat
* Stroller compatible with infant/newborn use
* Baby carrier/wrap
* Diaper bag
* Transportation/Uber/Lyft gift cards

🛁 BABY CARE

* Infant bathtub
* Gentle fragrance-free baby wash/shampoo
* Baby lotion
* Washcloths
* Hooded towels
* Baby nail clippers/file
* Digital thermometer
* Nasal aspirator
* Saline drops
* Infant hairbrush
* Changing pad

👕 CLOTHING

She will grow FAST, so different sizes would be a blessing:

* Newborn
* 0–3 months
* 3–6 months
* 6–9 months

Especially sleepers, onesies, pants, socks and weather-appropriate clothing.

New school year. New routines. New transitions. 🤍

And mama… breathe 🫶🏼

You don’t have to have the whole year figured out today.
You don’t have to know exactly how every schedule, appointment, pickup, deadline, bill, or unexpected moment is going to work.

God is already in the mix 🙌🏼

He’s in the classroom.
He’s in the carpool line.
He’s in the morning rush and the bedtime routine.
He’s in the details you’ve planned for, and the ones you haven’t even seen coming yet.

Mama, you may be carrying a lot, however you were never meant to carry it without Him.

So take a breath. Pray over those babies. Pray over their teachers. Pray over your home. And trust God with this next season.
