Hair loss can feel deeply personal… but it’s often part of a much bigger story happening inside the body.

My client has been navigating a season of hair loss over the last couple of years. Between surgery and the use of a GLP-1 medication, her body has gone through a lot of change—and sometimes our hair reflects that journey.

After major surgery, the body can experience a type of shedding called telogen effluvium, where physical stress pushes more hair follicles into a resting phase so they shed a few months later. It’s actually a well-documented response to things like surgery, anesthesia, illness, or major life stress.

GLP-1 medications can create a similar effect. Rapid weight loss and changes in nutrition can trigger that same shedding pattern, which is why some people notice thinning hair a few months after starting them.

None of this means something is “wrong.” It simply means the body has been through something significant.

And here’s the good news: you don’t have to lose your sense of self while you’re moving through it.

Hair extensions can be a bridge during seasons like this—allowing you to keep the long, full hair that feels like you, while your natural hair and your body recover and rebalance.

There is no shame in hair loss.
Not from surgery.
Not from hormones.
Not from medications.
Not from life.

There is only support, solutions, and a path forward.

If you’re quietly navigating thinning or shedding and wondering what your options are… you’re not alone.

And you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.

Let me guess…

Your hair is fine.

It’s long-ish, but not as long as you want AND you’re craving more fullness.

If that felt a little too accurate, hi. I see you 👋🏻

At The Temple, we meet you and your hair exactly where you are — and create a plan to get you where you want to go.

Naturally. Seamlessly. On your terms.

DM me when you’re ready ⚡️

I’m a toddler mom and a business owner…

I’M VERY TIRED ALL THE TIME 😅

I do not have the time or energy to style my hair everyday (gotta save that for my lovely guests 😘)

Hair extensions give me the freedom to be lazy AF and still look like I tried

If this sounds like something you need, follow along for more 🤗
