Happy 8th birthday to my sweet Ry Ry. I swear I blinked, and the tiny baby I once held in my arms turned into this beautiful, smart, funny, loving little girl right before my eyes.
I wish I could go back and hold you as a baby just one more time. Kiss those tiny cheeks, hear that little giggle, and soak in all the moments I didn’t realize would go by so fast.
Watching you grow up has been the greatest privilege of my life, but oh, how I wish time would slow down. A part of me will always see that little baby when I look at you, no matter how big you get.
You made me a mommy, and you gave me a kind of love I never knew existed. No matter how many birthdays come and go, you will always be my baby, my Ry Ry, and one of the very best parts of my life.
