I say it all the time… know a farmer!
•
It seems like there is more and more of an attack on our food system. Convenience and ease marketing that busy us fall into when the reality is we are being fed disease and poison.
•
A few weeks ago I did a food prep to ensure post surgery meals were set. I figured there were about 70 servings that came out of that 5 hour process.
•
Was it all the same food. Nope! Beef, chicken, turkey, meatless.
•
Here is the point. Make your own food. Find actual food suppliers and create real food. Grow stuff. Eat it!
•
I grew some corn. Keep in mind, I did this in the fill in areas of my garden. I have lined wooden shipping containers that are filled with wicking buckets so they can be more effective waterers. You can see them in the video, and they have been topped off with soil since I shot this. Rough summer conditions!!!!!
•
Why do I talk about that? You don’t need a ton of space. Now if I was growing corn to eat as corn…. Dude, that’s not enough!
•
But popcorn… I think that is a pretty good amount. I guess if we eat more popcorn we will need more, but it’s probably close to a years supply. Popcorn once or twice a month and I think we will be good.
•
Grow something. Start small. In your window. On the porch. Pluck it and eat it.
•
Then go find a farmer who grows good s**t. And buy their stuff.
•
Be sure to get organic or heirloom seeds or starts, otherwise it’s just part of the problem. Then grow it. Teach your kids. Teach your grandkids. Teach the neighbors who walk by.
•
Get yourself a step away from the poison. Go from there.

New project alert.
•
Funny timing. I had some cattle panels delivered yesterday.
•
My neighbor texted mid morning and asked if we could chat about the fence.
•
No big, they are replacing their current fence and wanted to give me a heads up. We talked about the psychopathic former neighbor who illegally removed our joint fence to squeak out another inch of her property.
•
I did say: I am going to be redoing my gate, but I’ll wait until your fence is complete. 3 hours later my panels arrived. 🤣
•
Last night I made my not to scale drawing of what had been in my head.
•
There is another drawing and more supplies coming this weekend. In addition to the new gate that will have a gate, a fence will go up along the front of my house, behind a wood rack. A little step will go up at the porch. Panels will go up along the porch and a gate that should open in the middle sealing off access to the porch. Then the pup will have access to 7/8 of the perimeter of the house. Front door can stay open and homegirl won’t bust out trying to visit the peeps walking by.
•
Paint. New facade on the porch. All the plans. Delay on the driveway gate part til the neighbs are done. To do’s!
•
But I’ll just be over here trying to make stuff while it’s too hot and coming up with home projects that it’s way too hot to be doing. Happy Friday!

Okaaay!!!
•
Maybe if I start doing more videos I’ll get back to my tv show voice and diaphragm exercises. But until then you get my everyday me.
•
Lavender salt bar. Didn’t set up quite as normal so I have a few dedicated home bars. It was even a little hot for this soap.
•
But salt bars have some great elements to them and will be perfect heading into fall and winter!

What’s up Wednesday
•
I’ve felt a lot of energy lately from those I love and are no longer here. A week ago would have been my Grandmas 97th birthday.
•
The picture was from the last day I saw her in 2019.
•
Life is a trip. We all see it differently and struggle with different aspects. If you know me in real life, you know I’m a little different than all the others. My outlook on life for as long as I can remember is we enter this world alone and we leave this world alone, everything in between is hopefully a bonus.
•
Everyone I have loved has reinforced that alone part for me. They don’t transition unless the ones who love them are not there. I think it’s a very personal experience when you are ready for death and a decision you make based on the conversation you have with your system.
•
Sometimes we are the facilitators. Sometimes we are the support.
•
My grandma and her husband were in assisted living. My aunt got a call a few days before this photo saying my Grandma kept refusing her meals. So I went out to see what was up. I took my boy and my mom. We had a little visit then I sent them out. I asked my grandma what was up. She used no words and told me everything. She shrugged her shoulders, shook her head no, nodded her head yes. Then I said. Ok, I’ll let everyone know.
•
She said thank you, told me how beautiful I was as she touched my hair and my face and told me how much she loved me.
•
It was a beautiful end to a tragic conversation.
•
Why am I sharing this today??? I don’t really know the answer. But I feel like we all have experiences with life and death that bring us energy at given times. I think this share is to just remind you that when we get a burst of energy coming from the other side that it is just a reminder of the love. The magical thing about love is it transcends all planes.
•
So maybe that’s what this message is about. Love. I hope you notice it. I hope you feel it. Because it’s still there! And when you miss someone, how lucky are you to still live with so much love.
Forgive the dorkiness… but I totally dorked out on the cute!
•
Fall and winter soap is in full swing over here and every day I am freaking out for a minute or two.
•
So much fun and awesome soap on their way. Can’t wait for you to see it all in person.

That’s my trusty honey bucket tool.
•
It made me cry the other day.
•
Crazy right!?!
•
So you know that fateful December night when I was hit crossing an intersection… messy!
•
Multiple times I have thought: I’m so much better, close to 100%.
•
The first time was in the specialist office when they did a response test. Probably a 90 seconds test where he touched places on my body, gave me direction and went from place to place. I knew right away things were so much worse than I wanted.
Then the look on his face, I just started crying before he said anything. That would go on to 12 x-rays and 7 MRI’s.
•
Next time, PT evaluation. Question 1 where do you think you are after 8 weeks? I say 80%. They do my eval, comes back at 40%.
•
Last year I finish up a round of Wolverine peptides at the end of October. Think I’m at about 80%. FINALLY in my healing.
•
Decide I want to try to get more healing. Start another round of BPC-157 and TB-500 6 weeks ago. Starting 4 weeks ago I realize every week I am feeling a little bit better. I’m able to do things. I’m enjoying doing things, even when it is hard manual labor. Healing pain is in the house, but so worth it. Octobers result probably had me at 60%.
•
Then last week, that honey tool. For 6 months after my accident Kash had to open honey buckets. Physically I could not do it. Then it progressed to taking the tool and prying all the way around the lid. Last week, 1 pry, as soon as I go to do the 2nd the lid pops off. This week, SAME THING!!
•
Dude!!! I am healing. I had forgotten that I could pop a lid like that. It’s been almost 3 years and I am healing.
•
Recently I have had to face how bad it has actually all been and maybe I’ll share all of that at some point. I realized the 80% has been my survival skill defense mechanism. Trying to convince myself that I am ok, when I have not been ok!! So I might say 80% again at some point…
•
But the fact that I can do something I did BEFORE my accident again, all I have to say now is F**K YES!!!
