Doris is a makeup artist with 10+ years of experience as a makeup artist. She is formally trained and Her primary interests are in commercial, print, and film.
Doris' clients have been, but are not limited to AMC, FOX News' Dr. Nina Radcliff, Entertainment Tonight's Hostess Zuri Hall, Kaiser Permanente, Stryker, The Smithsonian National History Museum of African American History and Culture, Pentagon Disaster Preparedness Training Academy, and Total Wine and More. She has worked as a Makeup Artist on set for local commercials, documentaries, and music videos. She enjoys working with her clients to help in creating a look that will aid them in being confident and secure in front of the camera. What an honor to meet and work with the descendants of Rev. Charles A Tindley. Rev. Tindley wrote the hymn "By and By" and the lyrics to "I Shall Overcome" that became the song of the Civil Rights Movement, "We Shall Overcome."
It was wonderful to learn more and be a part of Black History. I hope this program makes it to PBS!
