What an honor to meet and work with the descendants of Rev. Charles A Tindley. Rev. Tindley wrote the hymn "By and By" and the lyrics to "I Shall Overcome" that became the song of the Civil Rights Movement, "We Shall Overcome."
It was wonderful to learn more and be a part of Black History. I hope this program makes it to PBS!
