Air and Ash

Sometimes the light we’re searching for is on the other side of the parts of ourselves we’ve been avoiding. ✨

The more we seek the light, the more we’re invited to turn toward the places within us that we’ve kept in the shadows. Not to stay in the darkness, but to understand ourselves more deeply, release what we’ve been carrying, and make space for something new.

Sometimes, the greatest light comes from the places we never thought to look. ☀️

SORRY, I LIED! The cute working-from-bed IG story was only half the story. 😂

That photo was real. I felt accomplished working from bed that morning.

What you couldn’t see was that I was running on 3 hours of sleep because I had stayed up working to hit a deadline for a meeting that morning.

And honestly, that’s part of what it looks like to build something that doesn’t exist yet.

Sometimes you get to work from bed in your pajamas. Sometimes you’re working late into the night, making decisions when you’re exhausted, investing an entire year into something before you have any idea if it’s actually going to work.

And one of the strangest parts?

No one can fully cheer you on because no one can fully see what you see.

They can love you. Support you. Believe in you.

But they can’t see the entire vision.

Only you can.

And maybe that’s also what makes what you’re creating so uniquely yours.

So yes, there are beautiful days. There are incredible places to work from, like a villa in Bali. There is so much freedom.

But there’s also this.

The part nobody sees.

Just a little peek behind the curtain. 🤍

Some places feel strangely familiar before you ever understand why.

Maybe it’s the soul remembering a thread it has already lived.

In four weeks, I’ll be returning to Egypt with a small, intimate group for an experience I’ve been quietly dreaming into existence.

Sept 16-24, 2026 | Egypt

If you’ve ever felt like Egypt was calling you… this might be your invitation.

DM me EGYPT for the details. ✨

When the “woo woo” becomes your reality…and your life looks nothing like the one you were told to settle for. 😂✨

HERE is a powerful stranger.
What if feeling lost is exactly what this part of the journey requires?

Maybe you’ve just walked farther than your old identity knows how to navigate.

And you won’t find a map for a path that has never existed.

“The forest knows where you are, you must let it find you.”🌲

AND TO THOSE…
who are building a different way of living, relating, creating, and being, it’s going to feel disorienting sometimes.

You’re navigating territory that doesn’t yet have directions.

I plan on living my life like I’m actually alive.

Less sleep. Early wake-up calls. Incredible views. Shaky legs. Numb fingers.

Sign me up.

It’s funny… I used to get anxious walking into a grocery store or making a decision as simple as booking a flight.

Now I’ll travel halfway across the world by myself with no real plan and say yes to hikes like this without a second thought.

Freedom is becoming someone your past self wouldn’t recognize. ✨

✨Thank you to my guide komangastawa for helping me up (literally!😆)

I ask 85-year-old me what she would do.

Not because she knows the future.
Because she already knows what mattered.

When I’m standing at a crossroads, I don’t ask the version of me that’s afraid. I ask the version of me that’s already lived a full life, taken the leap, made the mistakes, loved deeply, and discovered that most of the things we worry about were never the things that shaped us.

The universe can only meet the version of you that actually moves.

You don’t become ready.

You become willing.
