Red can be tough. It fades quickly, yet is stubborn af when you’re ready to change it up and go lighter. That being said, it can be so much fun and versatile. A few things to keep in mind when looking for that perfect red tone:

♦️ Cool water is gonna be your best friend. I know I say it all the time and for everything but it really is especially important for brighter colors like this.

♦️Use a color safe shampoo, don’t shampoo too often & invest in a red pigmented shampoo, conditioner or mask.

♦️ Try not to use too much heat. When you do, make sure the heat is not too high and you are using a heat protectant.

♦️ Have a few different inspiration pics on hand. This will help us stylists to ensure we know exactly the shade you’re looking for & help us to achieve the perfect end result for your complexion and style.

An 8 1/2 hour color correction/fashion color project that was soooo worth it!

The key to a healthy transformation? Low developer which makes for a longer processing time but is less harsh on the hair, multiple treatments, a healthy trim, a home maintenance plan and allll the patience. Thank you for trusting me with your hair ✨

When those unicorn virgin hair beauties come in and you can have some fun coloring without bleach, that Redken RV series is 👌🏽🪄

Gahhh I’m 😍 over this blue! It was such a fun color to create and one of my faaaave colors to see on darker hair.

Thank you to the lovely for spending her Sunday with me patiently waiting through all the foiling it took to achieve this haha.

This BABE has me change up her root color EVERY TIME she comes in . Lol I’m so happy that she does though because as much work as it is, we get to take different pictures everytime! 💖

What color do you think she should go with next?! 🎨

These two photos were taken seconds apart with me just focusing on different areas which changed the lighting a bit.

A brighter, lighter look will reflect the light to show warmth whereas a cool/ashy color will be absent of warmth and appear a bit deeper and more muted.

As stylists, we take into consideration not only your goal color but what you need as well. Esther’s formula is mostly ashy af (as she likes it)- with just a hint of warmth to allow those brighter pieces to pop in the sunlight.

Can we talk about this RED though!? is KILLING it as a redhead 🔥
