this is the house on the cover of our album "from capelton hill". as you can see, it's kind of falling apart. it needs painting, the porch is caving in a little, and it won't be around forever. but is has been the site of countless moments of happiness and loss over 120 years. we haven't been around quite that long, but we definitely relate to this house; a little run down and neglected, but standing strong in the name of love, memory and endless summer nights. the album came out almost a year ago. we hope it's given you some joy and some heartbreak. we hope the house is around next year. and we hope we are, too. but if not, remember us, and the places in your life that were always there for you and seemed like they would never disappear. for as long as your memory lasts, they won't. have a great summer. and listen to Stars.
