Casteism Over Faith: Shocking Report From India's Uttar Pradesh
More than 250 members of the Yadav community have reportedly renounced Hinduism following a major clash during Janmashtami celebrations in Uttar Pradesh.
The incident took place on September 5, during the birth celebrations of Lord Krishna—who, according to Hindu scriptures, belonged to the Yadav lineage. Members of the Yadav community had gathered for the event when individuals from the dominant Thakur (Rajput) community allegedly disrupted the gathering, vandalizing the idol of Lord Krishna, scattering the prasad, and forcefully halting the celebration.
Residents alleged that when the police arrived in the BJP-led state where the Chief Minister himself belongs to the Thakur community they threatened the victims with an FIR instead of taking action against the aggressors.
In response to the alleged injustice and caste-based discrimination, over 250 community members publicly renounced their faith, chanting slogans and declaring they would no longer remain part of a fold where they face systemic bias.

🚨 McDonald’s India’s X account has seemingly been hijacked.
The account posted a bizarre story about an unpaid intern, claiming ₹60,000 in salary was owed since December 2025. The posts then escalated into memecoin trading claims, wallet addresses and a push for community support.
Users quickly flagged the activity as a scam. The incident also raises fresh questions about the security of major brands’ social-media accounts. 🔐
Under the cover of darkness, justice was buried in Saharanpur.
At 5:00 AM today, government bulldozers entered the Saharanpur Collectorate premises in Uttar Pradesh and demolished the century-old mosque located inside.
The deceit is staggering:
Last night, when word spread about the impending demolition, locals gathered to question the authorities. The District Administration reportedly pacified the crowd by promising that the building would merely be sealed, urging people to return home.
By morning, the reality was laid bare. Heavy police and paramilitary personnel locked down the perimeter, sealing all entry points, while bulldozers reduced the mosque to rubble before citizens could wake up to register a peaceful protest.
The Mosque was far from an arbitrary encroachment:
- The mosque committee had placed on record documentation and electricity connection records dating back to January 1, 1911, establishing that the mosque existed long before the Collectorate complex was built around it.
- Historically, it was erected during the colonial era specifically for Muslim labourers and employees so they would not have to travel long distances for prayers.
Despite centuries of continuous presence and documentary evidence, the state decided that brute machinery mattered more than historical facts or procedural justice. Slipping in under the cover of night to demolish a religious site is not an exercise of law; it is the brazen display of selective, unchecked state power.
Silence in the face of this systemic destruction only paves the way for the next target.
