The world feels a little less sparkly. 💔✨
Dolly Parton was so much more than an incredible singer, songwriter and entertainer. She was a businesswoman, philanthropist, trailblazer and a woman who never made herself smaller to make other people comfortable.
She came from very little and built an empire — and then spent her life giving back. She championed childhood literacy, helped families in need, supported communities through disasters, invested in healthcare and quietly gave away millions along the way.
But I think what I’ve always loved most about Dolly is what she represented for women.
You can be feminine AND powerful.
Ambitious AND kind.
Funny AND incredibly smart.
Successful without losing your humanity.
And you can be completely, unapologetically yourself.
She paved the way for generations of women to take up space, build something of their own and do some good with it once they got there.
What a woman. What a life. What a legacy. 🤍
Thank you, Dolly. Rest easy. The world will always be a little brighter because you were here. ✨

I used to think freedom meant working for myself.
And don’t get me wrong—I LOVE the career and business I’ve built.
But somewhere along the way I realized that being able to choose my hours isn’t quite the same as having freedom from them.
For most of my adult life, my income has depended on one thing:
Me showing up.
Another client.
Another appointment.
Another hour behind the chair.
And in this season of life, I don’t want to keep asking, “How can I fit more work in?”
I’m asking:
“How can I make the knowledge, experience and relationships I’ve already built work harder for me?”
So I’m trying something new.
I’m building an additional stream of income around something I’ve already been doing for YEARS—educating women about their hair and recommending products I actually believe in.
Am I still figuring it out? Yep. 😂
But I’d much rather build something imperfectly than keep believing the only way to earn more is to work more.
And I have a feeling I’m not the only woman feeling that shift.
If you’ve been thinking, “I could use another stream of income…but I absolutely do NOT need another job,” comment CURIOUS.
I’ll show you what I’m building. 🤍
POV: my “day off” as a hairstylist + single mom 😂
A little salon.
A little self-care.
A little pretending I have nowhere to be.
…and then right back to mom mode by school pickup. 🤍
I used to think a day off meant doing absolutely nothing.
These days, it looks more like having enough space in my schedule to take care of my business, take care of myself, and still be there for the parts of life that matter most.
Turns out, this is kind of the life I was working so hard to build all along.
Salon life + Willow Glen + a little self-care + school pickup.
My version of balance these days. ✨
Some days are better than others.

Butter blonde, but make her expensive. 🧈✨
Soft. Creamy. Dimensional. And absolutely not trying too hard.
This is the kind of blonde I love creating—pretty now, pretty as it grows out, and made for the person wearing it.
Also… the entire look? 10/10.

Consider this your disclaimer before following me. 😂
You’re going to get grey hair, healthy hair, scalp talk, products I genuinely love, a little beauty, a little real life, and probably a few opinions you didn’t ask for.
Basically, if you want to feel good about your hair without making beauty your full-time job… we’ll probably get along.
Which one made you think, “Yep, she’s my people”? 👇
Nobody really warns us that one day the hair we’ve known for decades might start behaving completely differently.
More grey. Less density. Different texture. Different scalp. Different maintenance.
And sometimes the answer isn’t another appointment or another product.
Sometimes we just need to change the plan.
That’s a huge part of what I do behind the chair—helping women figure out what makes sense for the hair they have now, without losing what makes them feel like themselves.
If your hair has been changing lately, tell me the ONE thing driving you craziest below. 👇
grey
thinning
dryness
frizz
texture
scalp issues
loss of volume

Ever wonder why you’ve tried every dry shampoo on the shelf… and still thought they all sucked? 👀
Turns out, most of us have been using it wrong.
The Champ Dry shampoo isn’t just for greasy hair—it’s meant to prevent oil before it starts. I spray mine at night before bed, lifting each section and holding the can about 6 inches away. By morning, it’s already been working while I sleep.
The result? Softer hair, less oil, more volume, and I can go days longer between washes without that heavy, chalky feeling.
Sometimes it’s not about finding a better product…
It’s about learning how to use it the way it was designed.
✨ Have you been team “spray it when it’s already greasy,” or have you been using it preventatively? Let me know in the comments!
