Why I Chose This Fabric
For this super lightweight cocktail dress I wanted a fabric that was soft and flowy, that had enough structure to show the sleeve and skirt flounces without being overly heavy or stiff. I decided to go with this lightweight cotton from Italy’s (Pierre Cardin, purchased from Mood) and I was really happy with how it turned out!
It’s got a soft hand and lended itself beautifully to this design. I also love a good animal print and floral moment, and this print was the best of both worlds.

If you’ve been around here long, you’ll know that I love , so when they had a sale on styles I wanted last year I just had to get them. This first look is matching burgundy plaid with a super fuzzy oversized fleece hoodie. I can’t wait to wear these each week 👏
