we are reading to raise money to find a cause for Cystic Fibrosis. CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CG makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.

Every person born with Cystic Fibrosis is on a unique journey and experiences this challenging disease differently. While progress has been made, a long road lies ahead for far too many people fighting this terrible disease. We need a cure so that everyone with CF has a better chance to live a long, healthy life.

Why be cool for the summer, when we can be 🎀 PINK 🎀 for the summer??

Pink has where it’s been AT in the chair lately. I’ve done so many pinks, and they’re all so different. And SO fun.

Oh my gosh HELLO!

I promise I haven’t forgotten about you here in the world of instagram. We have been BOOKED and BUSY. All in terms of life and behind the chair. So thank you!!! My life has been so full lately so here is what we’ve been up to the past month!

This has to be one of my favorite ways to add dimension but still keep the blonde POPPIN. Just because you want to add a little bit of a change and spice to your look, doesn’t mean you need to forgo your blonde completely. We achieved this look by enriching the roots, adding lots and lots of low lights, and foiling slightly around the face to keep it bright.

From brunette to ✨blondie✨

I can’t believe this is the first big transformation of 2026. It makes me feel like good things are coming! We were able to achieve this with just a classic maintenance.

Brightness around the face
Ribbon highlights
Solid ends

Team work really makes the dream work. ✨

Last bit of house keeping for the new year 🥂

I know I have seen a few of you already in th salon so you got the download early hah but going forward Green Steel Studios is now shifting towards a more inclusive, transparent and gratuity free pricing system.

Gratuities are never expected but sweets treats, coffee gift cards, a donation in my name to the CF foundation, or any other small tokens of appreciation are always welcome if you feel moved to do so.

You can also show your appreciation by tagging me or the salon in your posts if your hair, refer a friend (also receive some money off), or leaving a review.

2026 is the year setting intentions and empowering my business and my clients all alike ✨

There’s gonna be a few changes and this week will be the week of house keeping so keep an eye the page here for all the updates.

I am posting and reiterating my policies and pricing for full transparency, to keep everything as clear and concise as possible.

This past year I wasn’t very strict about my cancellation/rescheduling policy. Which resulted in my schedule having a lot of open days that I simply could not fill. Going forward I will adhere to the 48 hour cancellation policy, although during this transition time I will honor a one time “freebie.”

Thank you everyone for all your love, trust, and support! Thank you fo a fantastic year and here’s to another! 🥂

Thank you from all of us m. Thank you for making my first full year back behind the chair as a mom so easy. There have been lots of hiccups due to little man getting sick (continuously 🤧), but you all have been so wonderful and patient. Really reminding me that the folks that come visits my salon really are the best.

Thank you so much for such an incredible year, and as always thank you for keeping me in your budget 💕

When your client says “I want color, but I live in England and want it to grow out nicely” what do you say?

I hope you don’t think I said “no way!!!” Here at GSS anything is possible babyyyyyy. I said sure thing! Let’s do it!

So we did a mini highlight with a Mohawk section and added a root tap. I went with a root color that was similar to her natural, and toned her to this beautiful yummy toffee color. I have found combining toffee with a good root tap really helps give the hair “I just spent a bit too much time in the sun.” It really is the best of both worlds, you get to be a bit lighter, AND it grows out flawlessly.

So now we have something that will look amazing back home across the pond, and will last until she’s able to come back.
