I know there’s so much uncertainty in the world right now. We can’t fix it all overnight. But we can start on a smaller scale and help make our city stronger. Come out Thursday night for downtown San Rafael’s ‘Dining Under the Lights.’ Fourth Street will be closed to cars and only open to foot traffic.
Just spoke with someone at the San Rafael Chamber of Commerce. She literally said they’re doing this to save our downtown restaurants. So even if you’re not comfortable eating out in public maybe consider ordering food to go.
For those doing sit down service (outside) check with your favorite restaurant to see if reservations are required.
Can’t wait!!

We are hurting and now more than ever need to come together from a place of kindness. Let’s work together to be a stronger city.💗
San Rafael may have one of the nicest fire departments. Thank you Station 52, and Captain Northern and fellow fighters Gordon and Swartz, for making Coleman Elementary’s 5th grade graduation so special!

Should San Rafael copy Berkeley and close Fourth Street? This will allow restaurants to accommodate more customers while also maintaining the social distance rules.
Berkeley Will Fully Close Its Streets to Create Giant Outdoor Dining Rooms Berkeley is moving fast to expand outdoor dining
Biking home through the San Rafael-Larkspur tunnel.
Loved seeing the waving bear at our neighbor’s house while out walking our dog. Thank you San Rafael!💗
Thank you Kimberly JA for letting us know how Johnny Doughnuts is helping out during the quarantine:
Johnny's Doughnuts is working with local hospitals across San Francisco and Marin County to deliver pre-ordered boxes of doughnuts and coffee as a way to treat medical staff to something comforting during this time of uncertainty.
Each gift card for $15 will provide a medical personnel with:
(1) A box of Johnny Doughnuts
