For this client I used:
👉🏼 my .18mm 18u. This is the blade I always reach for for every initial client that I provide Microblading for. PRO TIP: for touchups, I usually size my diameter down to a .16mm blade
👉🏼 a *sterile* disposable handle. You still buying them bulk handles off of Amazon?! 🙅🏻♀️ If your handles aren’t sterilized, they *could* have bacteria on it. If they have bacteria on ‘em, and you’re gripping that handle and touching your client’s open skin.. need I say more? 😭
👉🏼 organic hybrid pigments from Perma Blend Premium Cosmetic Pigments. The LUXE line is my go-to for Mircroblading, always. And because they are organic-hybrids, I almost always modify and dilute them to aid in a soft and more blended heal

🛑 STOP TRYING TO FILL IN EVERY GAP 😭
Whether you’re a microblading or a nano/machine hairstroke artist, here’s what you need to know:
🗣️ LESS IS MORE.
You *need* negative spacing between your strokes in order for your work/those strokes to age gracefully. Trying to fill in every gap of eyebrow skin with hairstrokes is *not* the move for Microblading or nano. If fully filled in is either yours or your client’s goal then you should be giving them a fully shaded powder brow 💯

I’ve been training beginner PMU artists to enter the world of nano brows for the last 2 years, and last week’s masterclass marked the end of that chapter. It’s been a tough decision to step away from beginner training, but these incredible ladies made this one a class I’ll never forget 💕 Swipe through to see them in action and the results speak for themselves 🤍
This doesn’t mean I’m stepping away from in-person training altogether. I’m shifting my focus to revamping my library of online courses, so beginners will still have a way to learn from me, just in a different format.
In-person training will continue, but it’ll be reserved for private, 1:1 training with established PMU artists that have at least a year of skin in the game. More info on this is coming in a few days, so stay tuned.
And to every artist who’s sat in one of my beginner classes over these last 2 years, thank you for trusting me with the start of your nano brow journey. It’s been an absolute honor 🥹

I’ve been a little MIA on here over the last week. Here’s why:
💔 Last Monday, I lost someone very close to me.
👩🏻🎓 Last week, I also hosted a four-day beginner training.
🕊️ This past Monday, we laid our beloved to rest.
I’m still grieving ❤️🩹
This one hit hard. He was only 46 years old, and there’s an emptiness in my heart that I can’t quite put into words.
The last 10 days have all clustered together. A ride of highs and lows.. I just haven’t been in the headspace to be present on social media.
Nothing prepares us for loss. I’m giving myself a little grace for taking the time to be physically present where I was needed and for taking a short social media hiatus. I know you all understand how demanding the social media thing can be. It’s okay to take a break when you need one.
But I’m back, y’all. I’m still grieving, but I’m also still here.
So please enjoy my lil comeback reel 🥰
I have lots of before and afters, healed work, and beginner training content to catch up on posting, so stay tuned. You’re about to get sick of me 😘

A PMU tip that’s helped me during my first pass👇🏻
I gently blot with a clean cotton round after I lay down each hairstroke (microblading and or nano machine) ✨
During my first pass, my goal is to trace each pre-drawn hairstroke as *accurately* as possible. Since my fingers are constantly stretching the skin right around my pre-draw, it’s easy to accidentally smear excess pigment and lymph across my pencil guidelines as I work.
Blotting in between strokes helps absorb excess ink and possible lymph, keeping my working area dry and further, clean - making it easier for me to *clearly* see the next pre-drawn stroke I need to trace out.
It’s a small workflow habit, but it’s made a noticeable difference in helping me stay precise and again, *accurate* during my first pass.
Everyone develops their own workflow over time. This is one that’s worked really well for me.
