Every nail tech starts somewhere.

When you’re first starting out, it’s so easy to look at other artists and wonder why your work doesn’t look like theirs yet. But what we often forget is that we’re comparing our beginning to someone else’s years of experience, practice, mistakes, and growth.

This industry takes time. It takes patience. It takes showing up day after day, even when you’re doubting yourself.

And honestly? Even after 6+ years, I still have moments where I compare myself to other nail techs, question my work, or wonder if I’m doing enough. Those thoughts still pop up from time to time. The difference now is that I’ve learned how to work through them. I’ve learned to pause and remind myself of the truth.

The truth is that I am a badass nail artist who has earned my place here.

I have clients who trust me with their nails. I have people who follow my work, support my journey, and even use my designs as inspiration. And every one of those things is a reminder of why I do what I do.

So if you’re struggling with comparison, self-doubt, or feeling like you’re not where you “should” be yet, just know you’re not alone.

Give yourself some grace.

Look back at where you started.

And celebrate how far you’ve come.

Because growth isn’t always obvious when you’re living it, but I promise it’s happening. ❤️ just trust yourself and the process!
