There is something instinctive about working with my hands that transports me to this distant place, to the last meridian of all imaginary lines, a place where my creative process takes place and that allows me to translate to the world my sincere desire for a more fulfilling life. The embroidery that teaches me the art of patience; the ongoing learning experience of creating natural goods for our bodies and that constantly puts me in a state of bliss & the endless writing process that provokes soulstorms inside of me and that ultimately guides me to become whole. I live in Santa Cruz, CA {with my family of five} where I carefully and lovingly hand make each and every piece / product you see in the shop. I have a major in Literature and Languages, and have always nourished a love for all that is unique and feeds the spirit, for all things natural and handmade, hoops in special, they make me smile. Last Meridian skin care products were born three years ago, during the holiday season, as a way of saying thank you to all the teachers and assistants, friends and family that at that time made our life extra special. With my background it only felt natural that the gifts were made with intention and a desire to an even more sustainable life. The feedback that I received was so good and encouraging that, little by little, I started studying the art of plants and herbs ~ gifts from earth ~ making goodies that met my family's needs, and exploring ways to make them available to a larger crowd. However it was only when I started working with a designer to develop the logo / labels that it felt *real*. Last Meridian skin care line is made in small batches with truly all natural, organic ingredients (local and fair trade when available), honoring our mother Earth. No synthetics or hidden ingredients, fillers, chemicals, bleaches, dyes, deodorizers and preservatives are ever used. This results in pure, highly concentrated and effective formulas that are a true gift to our body and skin.
