I don’t post hair much anymore as I wind down this chapter in my life.
My advisor at SUNY Plattsburgh said during a group chat, “I’m going to challenge the culture - because the culture has been lying to you. You can have everything but NOT ALL AT ONCE.” (Or something like that 🤣 - it was a few months ago- but she had my attention.)
The past four years have been an amazing and wild ride. I’m looking forward to paring down into a simpler mode and reformulating my future - for both me and my girl.

I truly care for my clients. These relationships and being a witness to your lives has been one of the motivating forces for me to take the steps to become a therapist.

Hello! This is a PSA.
As many/most of you know, I’ll be starting graduate school full time fall of this year. I’m going towards my dream of helping and enriching lives through a master’s in social work/LCSW.
What does this mean for my clients?
I love you all. This is going to be the hardest part: I’ll be seeing clients on my regular schedule through to the end of August. So, I am currently booking as usual.
After that? I’ll be in school full time and will step away from Artemis.
What about Artemis? She is looking for someone to buy her things (the salon) and take over her lease. The rent is far lower than you probably think. Reach out if you’re curious. It’s not much more than your booth rent, and the growth opportunities are abundant.

So good! 6 months from her last foilayage, the grow out was definitely graceful (check out the before pics). 59 foils later, voila! Ready for another 6 months! (There is nothing wrong with going that long between highlights. These looks were meant for longer intermissions).
This masterpiece took 3.5 hours.
