Our service providers receive focused training with Southern Sugaring through our internship program, often assisting our upper-level professionals, making your appointments even more luxurious and efficient. Through continuing education and niche specialties, Southern Sugaristas are true industry leaders, consistently growing their knowledge and talent, as well as mentoring the next generation of skincare and hair removal gurus. Pricing varies to reflect each professional’s education, their experience, and the demand of their time, and we love to facilitate the matchmaking process, pairing you with The One who best matches your personality, schedule, budget, and requests.

Sixteen years of Brazilians. Thousands of clients. I have never once seen a “weird” V.

What I have seen: women apologizing for their bodies before I’ve even started. “Sorry, mine’s kind of strange.” “I know it looks off.” “Is this normal?”

Every time, the answer is yes. Different sizes, different colors, different symmetry, different everything. The range and variety IS normal.

The only person in the room who thinks something’s wrong is you. And I’d bet money you got that idea from a screen, not a doctor.

You can stop apologizing for it. I’ve seen a lot of them, and I promise you’re fine.

If you want to be smooth by swimsuit season, the math starts now.

Fall and winter are also just easier on your skin. Less sun means less risk before and after each session, and you’re not fighting your sun exposure schedule.

And if you’re already in a series and summer hits? We keep going. I adjust settings for where your skin actually is that day, not where it was in January. What I need from you is honesty about your sun exposure so we can collaborate, and no fresh burns on the table.

So no, you don’t have to wait for the tan to fade to get started. But if you want the easy version, start before the tan shows up.

You were born with every hair follicle you’ll ever have. Around five million of them. That number doesn’t go up.

What changes is which ones are switched on.

Most follicles sit quiet for years making tiny, colorless peach fuzz you barely notice. Then hormones come along (puberty, pregnancy, birth control changes, PCOS, perimenopause) and flip some of them over to producing thick, dark hair. Same follicle. New instructions.

That’s why you didn’t have chin hair at 25 and suddenly do at 42. Nothing new grew. Something old woke up.

It’s also why I can’t promise “done forever” on hormonal areas. I can clear every follicle that’s active today. I can’t control the ones your body decides to activate next year. That’s what touch-ups are for.

Laser or electrolysis? Depends on two things: how much hair, and what color it is.

Laser finds pigment. Dark hair on a big area, laser wins every time. Fast, clears the bulk.

Electrolysis doesn’t care what color the hair is. It’s one follicle at a time, so it’s slower, but it’s the only method that’s actually FDA cleared as permanent. Grey, blonde, red? Electrolysis.

On the face, most people end up doing both. Laser to knock out the dark hair, electrolysis to finish the rest.

And sometimes you book laser and I tell you it won’t work on you. I’d rather say that in the consult than take your money for six sessions of nothing.

Not sure which one you need? Comment your hair color + the area and I’ll tell you where I’d start.

On my way to the gym this morning and had some thoughts. Anything worth having is almost definitely going to be a long game, and anything promising instant and permanent gratification is most likely, well, a scam.

We are so programmed to want immediate results, but just like fitness, business ownership, or relationships, lasting hair removal takes time, commitment, and knowledge.

Shout out to Uncle Nat in NYC, who has been a voice for soooooo many important things in the hair removal industry (“hair has no gender!” 👏🏻) for their comment on my last reel about laser hair removal.

Comment below if you have questions! I’m ready to answer, and getting on this train now can set you up for a lifetime of easy maintenance.

Laser hair removal. Savannah hair removal. Esthetician.

Every detail. Every hair.

When I’m getting a new service done, I’m always most concerned about two things: effectiveness… and pain. (I am literally the biggest baby!) There are some painful lasers out there, but our machine has adjustable cooling built right into the handpiece, chilling the skin before, during, and after each pulse. Your skin is actively being protected the whole time. Less heat, less redness, and a way more tolerable experience than most people expect walking in.

I chose this equipment carefully, and I know how to use it to get you the best possible results in the shortest amount of time. That’s always my goal.

I think you might be ready to be done with the constant maintenance. Book through the link in bio.
