Good morning! This is Melissa Grissom I know you all have heard by now that I have been very sick.
I just wanted to give everyone an update. I was in the hospital here for a week and then taken to Vanderbilt and stayed there for a week.
This has by far been the sickest I believe i have ever been.
I am so so much better, but I still have a ways to go before I can come back to work.
I am on IV antibiotics here at home, and although i am thankful I can do this at home instead of the hospital I also want to say I am not a fan lol.
I am so sorry I had to miss work at such an important time of the year when everyone wants their hair done for all of their holiday events.
I also want to say a HUGE thank you to Adriana Fox for working some of you in on top of her busy schedule.
I am sure most of you all have heard that she is has made a very hard decision lately. She is beyond ready to stop this traveling from Paducah to Scottsville every week.
So she is going to start working in Paducah full time after today 😢
I know you will all miss her terribly, but I am going to miss her like I’ve never missed anyone. She is an absolute angel. A very precious person. I will never be able to replace her. She thinks like I do, she has done more for me in the salon than I could ever mention.
So let’s all wish her the absolute very best in her future!! We love you Adriana, and always remind that you will always have a place to come back to if you ever need it ❤️
Now, back to me and my situation. I will have to be off work through all of January. As soon as I have a definite date that I can come back to work I will let you guys know. I am anxious to be back, but I also know my body isn’t up to it yet.
Just know that I love you all very much, I have been blessed with the best clients/friends ever ❤️
And last but not least, I have to give my daughter LindseyLanders all the credit for getting me the medical help I desperately needed. I am so very blessed to have my very own NP!! She is amazing.
And also send a huge thank you to Mckenzie Grissom Harleigh Grissom and Brandon Caudill. Being blessed with great kids is nothing short of a blessing from the good Lord 🙏🏼 all 4 of these kids have taken s huge part in my hospital stay and my recovery at home. I love you ALL ❤️♥️❤️♥️
