Not only does this girl love her candles but I'm a HUGE Resident Evil nerd. So, of course I had to wear my Leon shirt for Requiem premiere day while pouring a test candle with brand new wax and a new wick! When the stillness of the snow begins to melt, there's hope the wind becomes warmer, and the air begins to shift, APG kindles below the earth to be reborn. 🌱

I am soo so beyond excited to slowly reveal all the newness that APG has in store this year! When the quiet starts to unfurl, you know new beginnings are on the horizon! This year I'm going back to what feels genuine, true, raw, and what the world needs right now. I'm leaning on more small businesses to curate a true sense of community and connection in my own products this year. As I've been creating, revamping, renewing in the cold months, this feels the most authentic APG has ever felt. And I hope in the coming months, you my sweet souls feel it too. 🩷

In honor of the premiere of Return to Silent Hill in theaters, let's take a journey back to one of our top fragrances of 2025- Restless Dreams! 🌫

Being a giant, almost obsessive fan of the Silent Hill franchise for well over a decade, I wanted to encapsulate the feeling of not just the town but the deep seeded feelings these games capture with every step, every moment of terror, and every gut wrenching scene. Fun fact- Silent Hill 2 specifically is my favorite game of all time. So, I put a lot of pressure on myself to really take that game and capture its essence in a bottle. (Also dressing up as the iconic Maria was sooo much fun!)

So- break it down with me more than ever before!

🌁 Fog & Fern
* This note is fairly obvious! Fog and Ferns for the atmosphere so beloved and iconic for the games. The smell of foggy, dewy ground, covering the trees and vast landscape waiting to be explored if you dare to trudge through the unseen shadows.

🌊 High Tide & Sea Minerals (Ozone, Citrus, Sea Salt, Jasmine, Light Musk, Powder, Violet, Cedar, Moss)
* Specifically in SH2, water is very prevalent as well as other natural elements. Silent Hill is a lakeside town after all, but the main character James Sunderland is represented by the element water. That feeling of overwhelming pressure of emotions washing over you in massive tidal waves and being carried out to sea.

🌲 Mountain Pine & Uncharted (Grass, Bergamot, Eucalyptus, Balsam, Leather, Patchouli)
* And what would Silent Hill be without a vast, unrelenting forest full of mossy rocks, dirt covered boots, mountain pines peering down on your every uneven step. I wanted these notes to feel like you are abandoned in a forest where every tree looks the same, every branch cracks upon your steps, and the feeling of always needing to pull out your map to guide your way.

🤎 Warm Vanilla Sugar
* This little dose of sweetness was for Mary. When I thought of this character and her journey through sickness and tragedy, I just kept going back to warmth. Tragedy can bring the absolute worst out in all of us. Deeply rooted pain and trauma. But in the end, we only hope for one thing- love.
